“I am lucky enough to have crossed paths with the absolute beautiful legend Melissa Mills in my personal journey to connect to Country.
From the first “quick” (nearly 2 hour) phone call we had, we both knew we had made a connection that will grow into a life long sisterhood.
Melissa is a Proud First Nations boss babe who has her successful portrait photography business and is a public speaker.
Over one of our lunch dates I had to ask Melissa if I can work with her. After a little scream of joy, she replied “yeah girl, of course”, where I had a little scream of excitement too.
Therefore, yesterday with Charnell (makeup & hair extraordinaire) and Ethan, we had such an amazing day with outfits, laughter, bottle feed breaks, coffee, high vibe screams followed by settling the boy back down (lol) opps!
I will admit, I loved the attention. I, me, this ordinary chick right here being spoilt by feeling like a superstar and I’m very excited for our next photoshoot project in September (because you know, why the fuck not!).”
To see and hear (Bel did a quick little video on her IG page) this reaction from a beautiful, spirited, warrior like Bel, is humbling to me. I never, ever, take my clients for granted and I want every one of them to feel like they are seen and that they are loved.
Bel’s strength, power and sensual beauty shone in the studio like a beacon and yes she is right……..we are and we will be sisters for life.
Thank you Bel, for bringing your light into mine and Charnell’s world.
