“I’d never even considered doing a photo shoot before.

One day I saw Melissa’s photos on Facebook and thought, “Wow that woman looks beautiful. Natural. No excessive costume or fake lighting. Just her.” I thought about it for and while and thought – do it. Just for me. So glad I did.

Before my shoot day, I kept thinking “I hate the way I look. I don’t know if I can do this.“

I felt uneasy about my body and my face. I hope they can work a miracle.

I was so worried about my lumps and bumps and scars. I was scared I’d do this and only see the scars and ugly. But when I saw the first sneak peaks I was so blown away – I didn’t even go looking for the scars!

The whole experience was fantastic!

Not once did I feel judged or uneasy. The whole experience from the moment I walked in the door was professional. I’m not used to having things centre around me, so at first, I was a little uneasy. Mel put me at ease and I came away feeling beautiful and more confident about myself.

I’m not just scars and ugly cellulite. I’m confident now – I’ve done this I can do anything. I don’t need to compare myself to other women, I have just as much to offer. I feel amazing now!

I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone and can’t wait for the next adventure!
